Dogs can help with much more than we think and dog also earn the title “man’s best friend”, they are one of the most loyal and faithful animals. To help our children explore and learn about pets, we organised a ‘Dog Show’ on Monday, 01^st May 2023 for the students of grades I & II as part of EVS Topic- ‘Family’.

A few parents and colleagues were invited with their pet to talk about their pet. The children were excited to see the different breeds of dogs. They were sensitized towards the needs of animals and learnt to take care of them.

The children enjoyed the show and learnt the importance of pet in our lives. They also understood that a good relationship with a pet can also help in developing non-verbal communication, compassion, and empathy. The children promised to take care of their pets as their own family members.
