Educational Outing- Museum of Indian Textiles
The school organised an educational outing for the students of grade VIII to the Museum of Indian Textiles, Sanskriti Kendra, Anandgram, New Delhi.
The outing was held on the 3rd and 4th of May 2023 as a hands-on learning approach with the unit ‘Synthetic Fibres and Plastics’. The aim of this outing was for students to identify different types of fibres and fabrics. It was a great learning experience for the holistic development of the learners.
The museum housed specimens of one of the best textiles and handwoven fabrics. The main objective of the visit was to make the students learn how natural and synthetic fabrics are different in appearance, texture, tensile strength and other physical properties.
