Suncity School took part in the World Scholar's Cup held at DPS INTERNATIONAL Sec 50 on 15^th-17^th April 2023 .The event is an international academic competition that challenges students to explore a variety of subjects and develop critical thinking, teamwork, and communication skills. The competition is open to students in middle and high school and takes place in regional rounds, followed by a global round.

The World Scholar's Cup consisted of several events, including team debates, collaborative writing challenges, and a quiz bowl competition. The competition covered a wide range of topics, including science, literature, history, and the arts.

 The competition encourages students to work collaboratively with their peers, while also challenging them to think critically and creatively.

Overall, the World Scholar's Cup was a great opportunity for our students to be a part of a unique and enriching academic experience. Our students, Arin Lall and Navya Mehrotra qualified for the Debate Showcase event and performed brilliantly. The entire team participated in the Scholar’s Talent Show and danced to the Macarena song, winning hearts and a huge applause.

 All the teams qualified for the Global Rounds to be held in Doha next. There were a large number of silver and gold medals and trophies won by the jubilant students.
