The theme of the new academic session is based on the Japanese philosophy-‘Uketamo’ which means, “I humbly accept with an open heart.” It guides us to embrace our reality and deal with it to the best of our abilities.
The perfect commencement of the Academic year 2023-24 was amidst great fervour and enthusiasm, evident by the zealous participation of the students in the various activities conducted on the very first day of school. The activities were aimed towards building character, sanskaars, gratitude and the spirit of uketamo.
A Magic show was conducted for grades I and II and also for classes 3 and 4, which left them awe struck and astounded. It was also a great way to stimulate visual, auditory and multisensory stimuli, making their first day of school unforgettable.
To hone the creative skills of our students and keep them constructively engaged, mask making activity for grade V was organised and enjoyed by all.
Grade VII had an enlightening session on Etiquettes. The session guided the students on good manners and values.
Personality development and communication workshops dominated for Grades VI and VIII. The children were glued with interest and ensured participation with experiences to share. Communicating and developing self ideals and morals is essential for the growth of an individual, and the children made the session interactive with their inquisitive questions.
In order to teach and hone basic etiquettes in our students, a session was organized, grade IX.
The First Day Activities were conducted in the spirit of ‘Uketamo’, by nurturing a child towards positive attitude and self-enlightenment.
In order to do well in academics and in life on the whole, memory retention plays a vital role. Memory retention session was organised for grades V and XI and was a great learning for our students.
