The students of Grade VI went for an outing on the 17th of February to Red Fort which is famous for its historical legacy and Sunder Nursery. The visit to Red Fort was a nice learning experience. We also had two subject experts who provided the details about its historical background. The students got to see the Diwan-e-aam and the Diwan-e- khaas where the emperor met the people to resolve the issues. Students were quite intrigued and fascinated by the structure and the beauty of the place.

After the visit to Red Fort, the students went to Sunder Nursery which is flanked by the World Heritage Site of Humayun's Tomb (Above) on the South and the historic Purana Qila. They enjoyed the natural beauty of the place and also had their food, sitting in groups. Students also got an opportunity to play in the play area which they really enjoyed.

All in all it was an interesting outing which provided for learning and enjoyment.
