It is rightly said, “It is not only about winning or not, it is about removing the doubt from within yourself and knowing that at the end of each day you are one step closer to your goals.”.

Suncity School believes that we can and must develop these important soft skills through sports. Losing or winning a game is immaterial but participating as worthy sports persons, performing to one best capacity is all that matters.

After 3 long years, the students of Suncity School were able to step into the field, assume their position, and take part in the 15th Inter House Tournament organized by Suncity School. It is safe to say that this was a huge success, thanks to the outstanding performance of all the players.

The Arctic house won the toss and chose to bat. It was an outstanding match with some amazing shots played by the Arctic batsmen. Indian house had a tall target of 60 runs to be scored in 6 overs. Both the teams gave it a tough fight but Arctic house emerged as the winner.

All the players had a positive learning experience. Sports teaches the ability to take defeat, to reflect and improve for the future, and to have the courage to try again, not skills that can be easily learnt in the classroom.

The accolades won by our students were a source of immense joy for all us.

Arctic house was the winner. The Indian house team also took it in the same sportsman spirit and gracefully congratulated the winning house. It was a grand success that would not have been possible was it not for the unending support and co- operation of our Director Ma’am and the Sports department.
