MI-me EVENT 2022

An Inter- School Event ‘MI-me’ was hosted by Suncity School, sector-54, on Thursday, 29th of September 2022. ‘MI-me’ revolves around Howard Gardner’s theory of Multiple Intelligences. Twelve schools, including the host school, were a part of this event. The competitions gave children a platform to explore and realize their latent talents.

The programme started with the Lighting of the Lamp ceremony in the presence of Madam Mansi Goel and our esteemed judges. It was followed by a scintillating dance performance by the students of Kindergarten, Grades I & II. The little ones participated in various competitions and performances. All the participants showcased tremendous confidence and creativity.

Children from the NGO, ‘Maharishi Dayanand Educational Society’, were invited and were provided a platform to showcase their talent. They gave a laudable performance.
 

‘MI-me’ Champion of the Day was an exclusive category where one child from Nursery, Kindergarten, Grade I and Grade II from each school participated in all the competitions of the day. The children performed with great enthusiasm and made their schools proud by bringing laurels.

The following students from Suncity School, sector 54, made us proud by winning various competitions:

  • Dhriti Joshi won the ‘MI-me’ Champion of the Day from Nursery.
  • Ashwin Kubba won the ‘MI-me’ Champion of the Day from Kindergarten.
  • Rishaan Kumar stood as the ‘MI-me’ Champion of the Day from Grade II.
  • Meher Gera of Pre-nursery stood at the 1st position in the category ‘Dip-Dab-Drizzle’.
  • Ivaan Sharma of Pre-nursery stood at the 1st position in the Bodily Kinesthetic Competition, ????? ???????????’.
  • Advit Goel of Pre-nursery won the 1st position in the Verbal Linguistic Competition, ‘Bliss on a Plate’.
  • Reyansh Jain of Nursery stood at the 1st position in the Logical Competition, ‘Sculpt the Masterpiece’.
  • Karan Ambawat of Nursery stood at the 1st position in the Bodily Kinesthetic Competition, ‘Little Olympic Dreamers’.
  • Jiah Aggarwal of Nursery stood at the 1st position in the Verbal Linguistic Competition, ‘Heirloom Tales’.
  • Riaan Khosla of Kindergarten stood at the 1st position in the Naturalistic Competition, ‘Rumble in the Jungle’.
  • Aviraj Agarwal of Kindergarten came 1st in the Bodily Kinesthetic Competition, ‘Blazing with Pride’.
  • Amey Miskin of Kindergarten stood at the 1st position in the Verbal Linguistic Competition, ‘A Day to Remember’.
  • Vedanshi Singla of Grade I stood at the 1st position in the Visual-Spatial & Naturalistic Competition, ‘Art-e-Nation’.
  • Haridra Bhal of Grade I came 1st in the Bodily Kinesthetic Competition, ‘Clean the River Debris Race’.
  • Harshita Saha of Grade I got the consolation prize in the Verbal Linguistic Competition ????? ??? ???????’.
  • Amaira Arora of Grade II stood at the 1st position in the Visual-Spatial & Naturalistic Competition, ‘Narratives from the Past’.
  • Anahita Gupta of Grade II stood at the 1st position in the Bodily Kinesthetic Competition, ‘Globetrotters’.

 The winners were felicitated by our esteemed judges and our Director, Ms. Rupa Chakravarty. The programme concluded with presenting the Note of Gratitude and the national anthem. It was a great learning experience for the children.
