It is a proud moment for Suncity School, as Riddhika Kotia of class IX F , the "BETI BACHAO BETI PADAO" Brand Ambassador won 1st prize in the under 15 Udaipur Chess Tournament held from 25th June to 30th June 2022. Riddhika has very consistently given an excellent performance in all the chess championships she has participated in over the past few years and has the complete support of all the teachers and students of Suncity School along this journey.

Chess is a complex sport of strategy, analysis and cognitive ability but by virtue of her tremendous hard work and dedication, Riddhika makes it look simple. Despite being of such a young age, Riddhika understands every nuance of an incredibly complicated game, a feat that not even those who are twice her age are able to achieve. Her many accolades have time and again brought laurels to our school and she is truly an inspiration for all her peers. Her focus in chess is impeccable and complements her passion for it.

In conclusion, Riddhika is not only immensely talented but also puts in the work required to hone her skills.
