Talent isn’t something inherent, but it’s developed and fostered through practice and determination. Our students showcased their talent in the kinesthetic art of gymnastics, showing great vigour. They truly lived up to this year’s theme, “VERVE”, through various skills like cartwheel, handstand, forward rolls and much more in the second virtual Inter House Gymnastics competition held on Friday, 17th December 2021 during the club hour from 01:05-02:05 pm. The contest was enjoyed by the participants and spectators alike for true spirit and dedication to the sport shines through even in our virtual medium. The contest witnessed enthusiasm and elan like never before and this was reflected in the magnificent efforts made by all the students.

The 2nd Interhouse Chess Tournament commenced with a prayer to the all mighty followed by an address to the participants by the reverend Director of Suncity Schools, Mrs. Rupa Chakravarty. Her words truely inspired all to give their best. After that, a truely awe inspiring showcase of gymnastic skills was done by the students. It was truely a feast for the eyes and the tenacity of the students reflected in their performances.

After the success of last year’s virtual event, the students have outdone themselves, coming stronger with greater confidence, skill, strength and self-control. Suncitizens have proven that not even the pandemic can quench their thirst for excellence.

The first prize went to Pacific house. Congratulations!

The total number of students who participated in the competition was 28. We wish all the participants best of luck in all their future endeavours!

The participants were divided into 3 groups:
Group 1: Grade I and II
Group II: Grade III, IV, and V
Group III: Grade VI onward
