SGFI District under 14 Chess Championship held on 26th and 27th November 2021

Recently the SGFI Districts under 14 Chess Championship was held at Presidium School on 26th & 27th Nov’2021, and rising Chess enthusiasts and avid players Riddhika Kotia of grade VIII A, Anushree Venkataraman of grade VI H and Shubh Ashesh Jain of grade VI F participated in the same. Riddhika Kotia made Suncity school proud by bagging the gold medal. This tournament was held for the first time after 2 years due to the pandemic, but that did not deter Riddhika. With guidance from her family and teachers, she was able to beat all the odds through skill and sportsmanship. We wish her all the best for her future endeavors and hope she inspires other students to take up chess as well.
