Recently, the SGFI block-level Football tournament was held, wherein the boys and the girls’ teams participated in the under 17 category. The boys’ team of Suncity School made us proud by bagging the second position. It gives us immense pride to announce that Teevr Bannerjee and Arjun Sai Ram– from the Under 17 boys’ soccer team and Palak Singh of grade XI, Anushka Vohra and Aastha Vohra of grade X from Under 17 girls have been selected for the State level. They trained conscientiously, with encouragement from the school, and put their skills to the test during the selections. We wish them all the best of luck in their future endeavors and hope that this achievement inspires many more students to discover the joys of soccer.
