Hindi Diwas was celebrated virtually with a lot of enthusiasm equally by teachers and students. The theme was ‘Navrasa’ and the annual theme of this session ‘Verve’ is one of the nine ‘rasas.’ VUCA, SDGs and competency based learning formed the backbone of the celebrations.

The inauguration was done by the Director Ms. Rupa Chakravarty who used the model of the bioscope to unveil the ‘rasas’. Her speech on Hindi speaking emphasis was followed by a rap by Veer Walia ‘rasa’.

The two-day long celebrations consisted of quizzes, questionnaires, hand movements and ‘rasaswadan’ which was a display of poetry and students’ actual experiences based on the ‘rasas’ depicted in the poems.

‘Kos kos par badle paani, char kos par baani’ emphasised on the diversity that lies in the amalgamation of dialects and sub languages.

There were assemblies comprising of dance and theatre presented by the students of grades I to X. There were various activities that were enjoyed thoroughly by the students.
