The Teacher’s Day virtual celebrations was organized by students of class XI on Friday, 3rd September 2021 for the teachers of Suncity School. The celebrations were initiated with a morning assembly featuring different performances by students, displaying their gratitude for all the teachers. This included dance performances, comical skits, choir performances, rendition of the guitar, and recitation of poetry and so on. There was display of handmade arts and crafts mad by the primary students to express their feelings for their teachers.

This was followed by students volunteering to teach junior classes while teachers enjoyed the performances and games orchestrated by grade IX students during the school hours. This was followed by a game show wherein children performed a skit and conducted games to entertain the teachers.

The second phase began with teachers sharing their experiences whilst teaching; their favourite moments about being a teacher and the immense love they had for their students. The games played included quiz session related to movies, songs, internet trends/slangs and even a scavenger hunt! Teachers were sent to breakout rooms for the games and they participated actively in all the games. The celebration ended on a fun note with a dance performed by the eleventh grade students expressing their gratitude for teachers.
