Suncity School, celebrated the 75th Independence Day with patriotic fervour and zest on 15th August 2021. The solemn occasion was marked with hoisting the national flag on the school campus sharp at 09:30 hours by the Director, Mrs Rupa Chakravarty along with the Headmistress, Head, HODs and coordinators; followed by singing of the National Anthem. Maj. Gen. TPS Bakhshi, SM, Veteran was the chief guest for the day and was welcomed warmly by the students and staff. The vignettes of patriotic presentations were interspersed through the programme; a mesmerizing patriotic song, a graceful dance- drama- Colours of Freedom, splendid show of gymnastic prowess along with the tiny tots displaying a splendid elocution competence with patriotic poetry were the highlights. The entire show compelled one to be grateful for residing on free land and upholding the values and life lessons imparted by the national struggle for independence.
