Aryan Jain, (grade X-C), has won the Regionals round of TiE’s Young Entrepreneurs Start-up competition (Delhi Chapter) and now would be competing in the Global finals in June 2021 where the winners of all TiE regional chapters showcase their start-up and they select the Top 3 start-ups. (TiE - The IndUS Entrepreneurs is a Silicon Valley non-profit supporting start-ups through networking and the raising of capital for new and experienced entrepreneurs) 

Aryan had worked on this along with 6 other students from the following schools - The Doon School, DPS RKP, Jamnabai Narsee School, Nine Education, Vasant Valley school. 

Their start-up idea is interestingly focused on School Education in the current times. With online education the efficiency and effectiveness amongst various stakeholders has been impacted. Due to online education on occasions parents and teachers don’t know what the student is doing in front of the Desktop, and examination is too late to take corrective actions. Even from an educator’s standpoint there is not adequate feedback on the effectiveness and more important attentiveness of students in lessons being taken by the teacher.

Accordingly, the kids have come up with WatchBot, an AI powered organization efficiency monitoring and improvement solution made to help provide data led insights on attention span, body posture, and other attributes that build up the efficiency quotient for the activity under consideration. It’s a great tool for the students, parents, teachers and administration to get proactive insights into what’s happening in on-line learning. The product will have an offline version too for future when things go back offline, where the classroom's camera feed could be used for similar analytics.
