Events And Gallery

Our students participated in the following sporting activities and gave an excellent account of themselves. We are attaching the results of the various events for perusal.

1. DhruvKhandelwal(XII B)garnered kudosby securing the 2^nd position in the National Level Basketball Championship held atAurangabad, Maharashtra from the 24^th to the 28^thof Aug’17.
2. Aditi Garg (IX C) brought laurels to the school - securing3 silver medals in the U-19 District Level Skating Competition held at Baliawas on 24^th Aug’17 and, has been selected for the State Level Competition to be held in Rohtak, in the month of September, 2017.
3. Our cricketers Akshit Agarwal (VIIIC), SohumDawar(VIIA), Dhaval Lal (VID) participated in the District Level Cricket Competition on the 24^thof Aug’17 in the U-14 category at S.D. Public School and stood 2^nd. They have been selected for the State LevelCompetition to be held inKurukshetra.
4. The U-14 Boys’ Badminton team,comprising AaryamanTanwar(VI H), Aditya Arora (VID), Shauryaveer Narwal (VIII A) &Lakshay Saini (VIII C),has brought laurels to the school by securing the 3^rd position at the District Level Tournament -held at Heritage School on the 24^th& 25^thof Aug’17. AaryamanTanwar(VI H) has been selected for the State Level Championship to be held inGurgaon during Oct’17.
5. SiaPratahmbir(IXB)and KritikaMann (XB)participated in the District Level Swimming Championship held at the Huda Gymkhana Club from the 29^th to the 31^stof Aug’17 and have brought laurels to the institution.SiaPrathambir won 2 golds&a silver and KritikaMann earned3 silver medals.
6. Our soccer players Krishna Mehndiratta(X A)&KushagraKakkar(X) participated in the District Level Soccer Tournament held at Ghata Village on the 24^thof Aug’17 and have been selected for the State Level Soccer Championship to be held inKarnal from the 8^th to the 11^thof Sept’17.
7. The school’s basketball playersStutiSharma (VIII D)and Aishwarya Bhatia (VIII A)participated in the District Level Basketball Championship held at the Govt. School Sec-4, 7 from the 24^th to the 28^thof Aug’17 and,were,selected for the State Level Championship to be held inGurgaon on the 8^th& 9^thof Sep’17.
8. The U-14 Girls’Badminton team comprising VidushiJaidka(VII F), AnanyaSethia(VII D)&AnoushkaSethia(VII C) brought laurels to the school, securing the 1^st position at the District Level, held at Heritage school, on the 30^th& 31^stof Aug’17. VidushiJaidka(VII F)&AnanyaSethia(VII D)were selected for the State Level Competition to be held in Gurgaon during Oct’17.
9. Lavanaya Jain (XI C) represented Suncity School at the District Level Championship,held at Nehru Stadium from the 27^th to the 29^thof Aug’17 and securedthe 1^st position. She has been short listed for the State Level Championship.Our budding, young gymnast Sanat Arora (IV A) also participated in the District Level Gymnastics Championship held at the Nehru Stadium from the 27^th to the 29^thof Aug’17 and won a Gold & 2 Silver medals. He has been Chosen for the State Level Championship, as well!
10. Our students participated in the District Level Lawn Tennis & Yoga Competitions. They participated with great verve and commitment and it was a valuable learning experience for them.

We, at Suncity School, lay emphasis on the holistic development of our students. The grit and glory of Sports is a key ingredient in building their personalities and in cognizance of this ideal our students are given ample opportunities to hone their skills. Kudos to all our young athletes, who participated in all the events and proved that practice is indeed the essential key to success!
