VIDEO CONFERENCE BETWEEN PREPATEC CAMPUS CIUDAD DE M

An interesting and engaging Video Conference was held between Prepa Tec Campus Ciudad de Mexico and Suncity School on 28 April 2021 on the module, Wealth, Poverty and Charity. Fifteen students from Grades IX-X, Navya Mehrotra, Pari Gupta, Rishika Dhar, Karunya Jain, Adaa Gupta, Ananya Punia, Noyonika Chatterjee, Aryan Nangia, Twisha Sharma, Harshita Dogra, Aarya Saraf, Naina Bagchi, Shreeya Agarwal, Aarohi Arora and Ronniet Biala  participated exceptionally in the engaging dialogue. It was divided into three segments, sharing, enquiring and challenging.

In the sharing segment, students shared when and  how they felt most wealthy and most poor.

In the enquiring section, students asked questions of one another, focused on what they have heard in the sharing session as well as asking questions to deepen their relative experiences of wealth, poverty and charity.

Students developed threads of conversation so that they could use their dialogue skills to delve deeper into the main themes that emerged at that stage of the dialogue.

Students were challenged to think on some lines of enquiry around the more challenging aspects of this topic such as, tensions between material and spiritual wealth, all acts of charity motivated by noble intentions or personal gains.
