Orientation Programme- EYP

The Suncity School, sector-54 organized an Orientation Programme for the new set of parents on Saturday, 20^th February 2021. The objective was to familiarize the parents, “as partners in progress” with the curriculum, rules and regulations of the school, teaching methodologies and the co-curricular activities. The school organized the event ensuring the COVID safety measures and social distancing.

The programme commenced with a warm welcome note followed by prayers. The Director, Ms. Rupa Chakravarty and Ms. Sangeeta Bagchi, Headmistress Elementary Years Programme addressed the gathering.

The Director in her address to the parents explained how imperative it is to ignite the curiosity of the young minds with a variety of examples, emphasizing the point and impressing the fact that an inquisitive mind makes learning effortless.

The Headmistress, Ms. Sangeeta Bagchi spoke in detail about different ways of nurturing a child with love and care to build a strong foundation for a glorious future.

The teachers gave an overview of the various subjects like English, Mathematics, Hindi and the co-curricular activities which assured them that the curriculum involves self-directed, hands-on learning activities which not only give vent to the creative talents and energies but also help in the holistic development of the child.

The orientation programme proved to be a sincere effort made by the school in educating the parents to look after and guide their children in a proper manner.
