On 5th December 2020, a Virtual Orientation Session for the Third Language was held for parents and teachers. The orientation began with a welcome note by the Head Mistress Ms.Kavita Lal, the students and the parents were formally welcomed and introduced to the teachers of the third language.

The teachers of the third language presented their presentations on German Language- Ms.Kanika Anand, Sanskrit Language – Mr.Akashdeep, French Language – Ms. Khushboo Gupta and Spanish Language – Ms.Nirmal Kaur, in which they explained the benefits of learning a new language and how bilinguals have the unique opportunity to communicate with a wider range of people in their personal and professional lives. Knowing the native language makes you a local no matter where you are, opening up your world literally and figuratively. For these reasons, the students will see the reward of learning languages for many years to come. It was explained that learning other language also has below benefits:

• Improves memory
• Increases problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Enhances concentration
• Improves the ability to multitask, and improves listening skills
• Deepens one’s connection with other cultures
• It also feed the brain
• Advances the career opportunities 

At the end when presentations were over by the teachers of the third language, responses to the queries were clarified by the teachers to the parents regarding the languages.
