Report Of Virtual Inter School Chess Tournamnet ’Shatranj’ Organized By Ridge Valley School On 17^th October’20

Our budding chess champions participated in the virtual chess championship ‘Shatranj’ organised by the Ridge Valley School on 17^th October’20. The total number of students who participated in the tournament from all over India was 113. Our 20 players showcased their strategic and creative thinking, calmness under pressure and patience while playing this mind game. The students proved that errors made would not get them down and they mostly made calculated moves to have a control over the game. 

Shubh Ashish of grade V secured 16^th rank and Suraj Gupta of grade IV ranked 47^th in the U-13 category.
