Report of 1st Virtual (7th Inter House) Yoga Competition on 21st August’20

The first ever Virtual (7th Inter House) Yoga Competition was conducted successfully on 21st August’20 (Friday) in the club hour from 01:05 PM-02:05 PM. The 11 participants displayed great energy, enthusiasm, strength, flexibility and grace in performing the 'asanas'. Dr Jaya Prakash who has worked with Suncity as a yoga teacher and currently he is working as a COO of PIYAS Yoga and Nature Care Hospital-a NABH accredited Hospital in Bengaluru judged the participants based on various parameters such as flexibility, strength, grace, holding time, getting in and coming out of the posture.
The participants were divided into 3 groups:
Group 1-Grade I And II
Group 2:Grade III,IV and V
Group 3:Grade VI onwards
The performance witnessed during the event was praiseworthy and breath-taking. It was encouraging to see the participation and enthusiasm among the students. The Students learning the Yogic Science raised the bar yet again and performed many difficult asanas with utmost ease, grace and flexibility.
The students were very excited to perform different 'Asana' such as Ek pada chakrasana,Purna Natrajasana ,Purna Salbhasana,Bhunamansana etc. Arctic House was declared as the winner.
