Two of its class 7th students Vihaan Sharma and Shaurya Rastogi have achieved the unachievable by organizing a mainstream online event during the theCovid-19 lockdown.

This not only garnered more than 423 participants from all around the world but also got sponsorship requests from world-renowned US-based companies like SpeedCuberShop and Gan Cube.

We know how reputed institutions are giving weightage to real-life experiences in addition to the academic performances of students. This is now the most important method being practiced in institutions like Harward and Oxfords of the world. In his book The Formula: The Universal Laws of Success – Albert-LászlóBarabási mentions his experience with this trend. 

Keeping that in view, during this time of COVID crisis, Vihaan got into learning and practicing many practical skills that he could use instantly use to get down to the field and implement some real-life projects. Apart from creating his online training class, where he has 68 students with 2000 minutes watched from different parts of the world.

He acquired Web Designing skills which he combined with the existing skill of a Professional Rubic’c Cuber and he launched his own website and an international level online cubing competition. 

The idea then further required him to have a trusted partner and he saw that in his friend Shaurya Rastogi, who is equally sharp and talented in his thinking and approach. 

Given the responsibility of getting a sponsor for the competition, Shaurya, with his efforts, got a sponsor called “SpeedCubeShop” who saw branding potential in their effort and agreed to sponsor. 

Together they finally got 423+ Cubers to compete from all around the world. The event was very successful .

They are now planning to have similar online events once every quarter also giving equal importance to their studies. 

The exposure and attitude that Suncity School provides to their students, so early, that they are able to think in this direction and also able to bring it to a successful conclusion.

Apart from that Vihaan also used Video Editing, Live Video Streaming, and other related things.

Shaurya was new to SpeedCubing, and also Online Competition Management BUT he is highly and naturally skilled in Liasoning and negotiating with US-based companies, which got them up to $1000 invested as prize value by the sponsor company SpeedCubeShop.
