Report of 5^th Inter-House Basketball Tournament

Suncity School has always aimed at the overall development of its students. With the result, we have a hard-won reputation for producing well-trained and competitive youngsters across all age groups.

The school playground of Suncity School was filled with great zeal, and excitement and frolicsome atmosphere on 27^th Dec’19 as we set off for 5^th Inter-House Basketball tournament played between Arctic Vs Pacific House.

The budding players were beset by various emotions like apprehension, pride, aggression. But at the end they learned that a game is not only about winning – it is also about knowing how to accept defeat gracefully. It is about trying to strategise and also evaluate their strengths and hope, while representing their respective house, which indeed motivated them to perform better.

Arctic house team also took it in the same sportsman spirit and gracefully congratulated the winning house which was Pacific. It was a grand success that would not have been possible was it not for the unending support and co- operation of our Director Mrs. Rupa Chakravarty, Principal Mrs. Sandeepa Rai and the Sports department.

Such events are a good break for students from their hectic school routine.
