Visit To Mineral Museum

86 students of Class X went for an educational outing to Gargoti Mineral Museum, Connaught Place, New Delhi on 8^th November, 2019 (Friday) during school hours.

This trip was planned as an extension of the chapter ‘Mineral and Energy Resources’. Students gained an appreciation of the natural resources like minerals and utilization of the same in the economy. The main objective was to authenticate concepts taught in class, as students saw first-hand relevance and application of the subjects learnt in the classroom, in the real world. This museum featured a vast collection of minerals, gem stones & crystals, from various parts of the world besides a rare dinosaur egg, samples of moon rock, and some fossils. It was a great learning experience for students.
