Report of World Scholar’s Cup at Beijing, China Dates: 21^st June 2019 to 25^th June 2019

World Scholar’s Cup:-Global Round was held from 21^st June 2019 to 25^th June 2019 at Beijing. Three teams (one senior and two junior) comprising of three students each took part. 54 countries and more than 2000 scholars participated in the global round.

The senior team comprising of Aananya Singh, Arismita Ghosh and Yashvi Bagaria won 39 medals in all.   Their team was ranked 9^th in the South east Asian region.  Aananya Singh was the only Indian who got selected for debate showcase and her debate showcase team won the debate. 

The junior team comprising of Arush Lall, Arnav Arora and Krish Goswami won a total of 33 medals and their team was ranked 3^rd in the South  East Asian Region.

Both these teams qualified for the tournament of champions to be held at Yale University.

The second junior team comprising of Medha Arora, Dakshta Arora and Trishaan Chaturvedi also performed reasonably well and won a total of 8 medals.
