The Inter School Cultural Competition "SAWAN" was held in Gyan Devi Public School ,Gurugram on 31st August,2019.The Inter School Cultural Competition was organised to encourage and give knowledge about Indian Classical Music and Indian Cultural activities.

Children from fifteen different  schools  participated in the different
categories in the competition.

- Angad Singh of Class -VII-C from our  school  won the 1st prize in the
solo classical round(presented  Bandish in Chota Khayal in Raga Miyan
Malhar -which is rainy season  raag in teen taal with Aalap and Taan)

- Palakshi Seherawat of class VII-D  from our school won the 1st prize in
solo dance round where she presented Indian contemporary in poem form and semi classical with instrumental music on topic "Rain"

- Dhwani Khera of class VIII-F from our school won 3rd prize in the Poster
Making Competition on topic  "Save the Earth " Also our school got overall trophy in the cultural round for our performances.
