Website Report On Bodily Kinesthetic Event

We, at Suncity School, provide ample opportunities to our children to learn and grow through participating in various co-curricular activities hence, we keep organizing numerous events for the little ones to develop their skills and enhance their intelligences. The Elementary Years Programme organised the Inter-Class Bodily Kinesthetic Event for the children on Wednesday, 28^th of August 2019. The races began with cheering and tons of encouragement for the young athletes.

The little ones of Pre-nursery participated in ‘Colourful Food for Thought’. They had to cross the hurdles to reach the point where the wings of a parrot were kept. They had to wear the wings and run further to the peg line where they had to pull the guava cutouts with their mouth, keep them in the basket and then pick up the basket and run towards the finishing line. The children were full of energy and participated with full gusto.

The Nursery children participated in ‘Pouting Frogs’. They had to hop over the ladder base to reach the point where a pencil was kept in a basket. They had to pick up the pencil and balance it between their nose and upper lip, making a pout. They had to run towards the finishing line while balancing the pencil. They all scorched the racing tracks with great enthusiasm.

The little champions of Kindergarten took part in ‘Balance the Ball’. They had to do skipping with a hula hoop and reach to the point where a tennis racquet and a ball was kept. They had to balance the ball on the tennis racquet and walk till the finishing line. They performed with great zeal and excitement.

The little ones from all three grades exhibited the true spirit of sportsmanship and showcased their agility and strength while participating in the races.
