Report Friendly Soccer Tournaments
Friendships born on the field are the real gold of competition.
Sport is one of the few spaces where people can learn about each other in a spirit of trust and friendship.
Soccer, as a sport, has always brought people together on the field. Keeping up with the spirit of the game, Suncitizens played friendly matches on 23rd and 24th August’19 respectively.
On 23rd August, the students played a friendly soccer match at DPS School, sector 45 in the Under-14 Boys category.
On 24th August, the students played a friendly soccer match at Lancers International School, Gurugram in the Under-17 Boys category. The Suncity team won the friendly match with a fantastic clean sweep of 8-1 against the host school.
All the students showed excellent sportsmanship and played to the best of their ability. It was a great display of skill and team-spirit by the students. They played keeping up the true essence of the sport which brought them together as friends and not competitors.
