INTER-HOUSE CRICKET TOURNAMENT (2018-19)
It is rightly said, “The real cricket talent emerges from young blood and schools”.
Taking this spirit into mindSuncity School organized the 13th Inter House Cricket tournament.It is envisaged, that our students will have positive experiences, through the inter house sports, that will eventually build a ‘Sporting Society. ’The ability to take defeat, to reflect and improve for the next round, and to have the courage to try again are not skills that can be easily learnt in the classroom. Suncity School believes that we can and must develop these important soft skills through sports. Losing or winning of a game is immaterial but participating as worthy sports persons, performing to once best capacity is all that matters.
The accolades won by our students were a source of immense joy for all us.
The sportsmanship displayed by both the teams (Indian house and Arctic house) kept reminding us of the international cricket played globally. The day culminated with the prize giving ceremony.
Arctic house was the winner. The other team also took it in the same sportsman spirit and gracefully congratulated the winning house. It was a grand success that would not have been possible was it not for the unending support and co- operation of our Principal Mrs. Rupa Chakravarty and the Sports department.
