Report of World Elderly Day on 1st Oct 2018
On the occasion of World Elderly Day, the school invited the elderly people from the Earth Savior Foundation on 1stOct 2018. The guests from the old age home witnessed the school assembly and were then served breakfast in the refectory by the students of grade 10. The students also gave Thank You Cards to them as a token of gratitude
The activity was a part of an English chapter of grade 10, ‘The Dear Departed.’ Students got a chance to interact with the elderly and enjoyed the experiences shared by the guests. The activity was planned to help the students inculcate the values of respect and compassion towards old people.
