Road Safety Session For grade 3
A Road Safety awareness programme was held on Thursday, 23rd August, 2018 for Grade 3 studentsbyIL and FS Education in partnership with BMW.
An informative and interactive presentation was made in the school Auditorium byMr. Arun Pahwa to help students become responsible citizens and take up the responsibility as efficient road users.
The session begin with a pre assessment test for 15 minutes in which children were asked to answer questions related road safety.Mr Pahwa spoke about the road safety, discussed various safety measures to be followed while driving, the importance of wearing seat belts etc.
The presentation was followed by a SIMULATION SESSION in the basketball court in which the students rode BMW toy cars and bikes and learnt about various traffic rules to be followed in a live traffic situation. They learnt about various road signs. There was a post assessment testfor 15 minutes after both the sessions in which they were judged on the basis of their knowledge and skills acquired during the session. Students were gifteda booklet on road safetyand a badge.
