Within the theme, students explore topics in science, social studies, the arts, literature, history and current affairs. Every World Scholars Cup has four, main events; Scholars challenge, Collaborative writing, team debate and Scholars bowl.

We, at Suncity School, feel honored to have hosted the regional round of the World Scholar's Cup on 28th and 29th April 2018. Over 500 scholars from over twenty-five schools participated in the event. The first day began with the inaugural assembly which comprised the lighting of the lamp by our Vice- chairman Mr. Ankit Goel and Mr. Chauncey and Mr. Vishal from the WSC team. It was followed by Acapella rendition by the Suncitizens. The WWC team then took over the proceedings and the events began. The first day saw ‘Team Debate’, ‘Collaborative Writing’ and ‘Scholar’s Challenge’. The following day had the ‘Scholar’s Bowl’, ‘Debate Showcase’ and the ‘Scholar’s Show’ followed by the award ceremony.

The global round will take place in Kuala Lumpur/Barcelona/Melbourne in the month of June/July.
