Field trips have the magical ability to spark wonder and excitement in learning, offering students the invaluable opportunity to bridge classroom lessons with real-life experiences. With this thought in mind, Suncity School organized a Manner Development Outing to ‘Bikanerwala’ in sector 54, for the students of EYP2 and EYP3, on Tuesday, 14^th May 2024. The primary objective of the outing was to instil in children the importance of appropriate behaviour and table manners within a restaurant setting.

Before embarking on the outing, children were briefed on the expected norms and basic table etiquettes such as correct posture, adept use of cutlery and chewing food with mouths closed. Teachers further emphasized the significance of greeting others warmly and exhibiting politeness towards the restaurant staff.

The children were extremely excited as they embarked on their first trip of the new academic session. Throughout the outing, they exhibited good understanding and application of table manners, demonstrating a blend of excitement and adherence to decorum. Their enjoyment was evident as they savoured a delicious meal along with their peers and teachers.

The outing served as a great platform for the children to not only enhance their social skills but also to put them into practice within a real-world context, thereby fostering holistic development.
