Report on Labour Day Elementary Years Programme

Labour Day is celebrated on the 1st of May every year to honour the contributions of workers and their achievements in creating a better society. Recognizing the significance of this day, the students of Suncity School, celebrated Labour Day, fostering appreciation and gratitude among students towards the labour force.

The little ones of EYP1, EYP2, and EYP3 created thank you cards and flowers to express appreciation for the efforts of workers. These creative expressions showcased the students' understanding of the value of labour and its impact on society.

With enthusiasm, the children distributed the thank you cards they had crafted to the school's nannies, housekeeping staff, drivers and conductors. Some of the children gave the cards and flowers to their household helpers, guards and drivers.

Through these creative activities and the distribution of thank you cards, students not only demonstrated their appreciation but also cultivated empathy and respect for the labour force.
