Report On Saturnalia- MYP

This year the theme of our annual fiesta Saturnalia which was held on 16 December 2017 was Divergent and Futuristic Thinking. The Invocation dance (Bharatnatyam) was performed on the ramp as a trailer of the show. The program commenced with lighting of the lamp and welcome of the chief guests Mr. MayankTewari and Mr. Sangam Mishra. This was followed by orchestra presentation ‘Malhar’ which was a synthesis of Indian, western and kitchen instruments along with A’Capella. Our Principal elucidated about the school in her prologue, ‘The Glimpse 2017’. Next we had the English play based on deeds of today and seeds of future showcasing the contemporary issues in connection with the divergent future. The Hindi play ‘YehKahanAaa Gaye Hum’ depicted how life will only be about ratings in the future. The plays were exquisitely adorned with wondrous dance performances. Prizes were also given away to the achievers in various fields. The program culminated with ‘BailarMezcla’ the grand finale which was a fusion of Indian and western dances, decked with aerial and rhythmic gymnastics stunts. The program was a big success and a remarkable experience for everyone.
