Report of damdama
The IGCSE students of Grades IX and X went to Damdama Lake on 21st December 2017 as a part of the SEWA initiative.
The experience proved to be most fruitful for social empowerment through work and activity wherein they proactively cleaned the site and shared posters and slogans with the people there. They interacted with the villagers there and enlightened them about clean and healthy lifestyle and also educated them about girl child and women empowerment.
This was the first visit by the IGCSE students and was a great learning for them to gain first-hand experience of the ground realities of problems faced by the villagers and be a part of the solution process.
