Ekal Run- On 9th October 2023
“If it doesn’t challenge you, it won’t change you.”
The EKAL RUN 2023, organized by Ekal Yuva - Bharat Lok Shiksha Parishad, took place on Sunday 8th October 2023, at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. The event's theme, "Ek Kadam Gaon ki Unnati ki aur," was at the forefront, and the opening ceremony was graced by Mr. Prakesh Singh Verma, MP.
Suncity School, following its yearly theme, 'Uketamo,’ actively engaged in this significant event. It featured races covering 10km, 5km, and 1 km for participants of all age groups. Additionally, a Poster Making Competition focused on sports-related themes added to the event's vibrancy. The venue witnessed an impressive turnout, with thousands of people gathering to commemorate and celebrate this meaningful occasion.
Enhancing the event's success, four students, three parents, and ten sports teachers from Suncity School attended and actively participated in the run.
Bharat Lok Shiksha Parishad is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing basic education to every child in rural India. Simultaneously, Health Fitness Trust serves as a Sports Promoting NGO, working alongside underprivileged individuals on Skill Development and Anti-Drug campaigns.
