National Summit- 19th and 20th of September 2023

The Central Board of Secondary Education organised a two-days’ National Summit on the topic, 'Facilitating School to Work Transition on the 19th and 20th of September 2023, at the ICAR Auditorium. Along with panel discussions featuring eminent speakers, the event also hosted a first-ever Skill Expo where schools from across the country got the opportunity to showcase their skills under various themes and sub-themes.

The stall put up by our school highlighted the skills learnt in Mass Media skills and like it is our Karmic principle, wove it around multiple strands like SDG, sustainability, innovation, branding and so on. We also showcased Saanvi Dhingra’s entrepreneurial venture Cinderella’s Shop. Saanvi received the Diana award for her project wherein she mixes entrepreneurship with sustainable innovation, design thinking and gender empowerment.

We were also the only school at the exhibition to have organised four innovative and engaging games for the participants and visitors that focussed on SDGs, Media Quiz, branding and communication. Visitors were provided interesting headlines of the past week and they had to either write down a tweet about it or had to create a tagline (like Amul). We received much appreciation for our innovative projects, unique artwork and the confidence and warmth of our student volunteers.
