Video Conference with Indian and Indonesian Schools
A video conference was held on 21st August 2023 for three schools from India, including Suncity School, and SMAN 3 Painan, a school from Indonesia. The topic of the discussion was ‘Civic Participation’. Twelve students from Grades IX and X, Annannya Holani, Naisha Gupta, Saanvi Kastiya, Lehar Goyal, Ananhita Jain, Kaashvi Gupta, Aditveer Bhayana, Aishwarya Bhargava, Amanat Pruthi, Arika Lall Ananyaa Khanna and Anaya Taneja, participated in the conference.
The video conference started with a student from each school sharing their understanding about the topic and how it looked like in their community. The other students freely added, explained more or clarified to create a better picture of what their schools had done for civic participation.
The dialogue was quite engaging, students showed their interest to share and respect each other’s views and experiences as concerned and compassionate citizens of the world community.
