Inter-house Patriotic Song Competition Report

An inter-house patriotic song competition, aptly named ‘Sarzameen’, was held in our school on 4th August, 2023. Groups of students from Grades III-XI, representing the four houses, enthusiastically participated in the competition.
The event was graced by Mrs. Mrugyani Avinash Pavgi, Sangeet Visharad in vocal music and Sangeet Alankar in violin. She was the judge of the competition. This annual event is an initiative of our respected School Director Mrs. Rupa Chakravarty.
The programme commenced with the mellifluous rendition of the soulful lyrics of Vande Mataram and concluded with our most-revered National Anthem, Jana Gana Mana. It was heart-warming to see our students perform with full patriotic zest to express their unbridled love for the nation.
The judge appreciated the efforts of the participants before declaring the results of the competition. Indian House bagged the 1st position, Atlantic House the 2nd, Pacific House the 3rd, followed by Arctic House.
The event, apart from enhancing interest in music, imbibed the spirit of patriotism in our students.
