A field trip is one of the best tools that we can use to provide every student with real-world experiences. A focused field trip can be the perfect vehicle to introduce new skills as well as concepts to children and reinforce ongoing lessons. It gives an educational experience, away from the regular school environment.

We, at Suncity school, firmly believe in the thought quoted above and thus keeping the same in mind an outing was organized to ‘Aeroplanet’ on Monday, 17^th July 2023, for the little champions of Nursery and Kindergarten.

The teachers sensitized the children in the class during circle time about good manners, norms to be followed and the appropriate way to behave in public places.

The children boarded the bus and arrived at the venue on time. They walked in a line and wished everyone on their way. They were given a warm welcome by the staff of Aeroplanet and were served a welcome drink.

The children were issued boarding passes wherein they experienced boarding the stationed Airbus A-300. The children got an opportunity to have a view of the cockpit and they were also served sweets by the airhostess. They learnt about the use of oxygen masks, life jackets and safety belts etc. through a demonstration given by a trained air hostess. Post that they were given hands on experience of sliding down from the aircraft in case of an emergency landing. The children also enjoyed activities like zip line, trampoline, climbing on a commando net and magic show.

The little ones carried some beautiful memories with them when they left the venue. They thanked everybody on their way out and boarded the buses to reach school. It was a fun-filled day with a great learning experience for them.
