Language Jamboree, the annual Language celebration event, was organized by students of International Academia to celebrate the uniqueness of languages.

The theme of this year’s Language Jamboree was Identities and it highlighted how languages form an integral part of our identity.

Learning Outcomes:

1. Developing intercultural awareness - Students got a peek into the cultural differences and similarities amongst various languages.
2. Students were introduced to values as an integral part of various countries.
3. Promotion of creative thinking through hands-on activities like quizzes and language games.
4. Students learnt the beauty of idioms and how idiomatic expressions enhance the language.

Who participated?

Students of Grade 6 CBSE took part in the event. Students went around all stations exploring various hands on activities and quizzes.

Passports & The Identity Tree

All students were given passports which were stamped at every station, adding to the excitement. Students were also encouraged to write a word each on the Identity Tree. They wrote words which described them in the best possible manner.
