A school trip to the farm is a reminder that the simplest things—fresh air, green fields and the laughter of children are often the most magical. Keeping this thought in mind, the Elementary Years Programme organized an educational and recreational outing to Madhavgarh Farms for the little ones of EYP1, EYP2 and EYP3. The objective of the outing was to provide children an immersive experience of rural life, fostering an appreciation for nature and encouraging hands-on learning through traditional activities.

Excitement filled the air as the little ones embarked on their journey to Madhavgarh Farms. Upon arrival, they were greeted with a warm welcome and a traditional ‘tilak’ on their forehead, setting the tone for a culturally rich experience. Guided through various zones, the children enthusiastically participated in activities such as camel cart rides, bullock cart rides and tractor rides, their faces lighting up with curiosity and wonder. The sight of majestic horses at the farm added to their excitement, while hands-on experiences like clay pottery, dart games and basketball kept them engaged and delighted.

The outing was a perfect blend of adventure, culture and education. The children were captivated by a mesmerizing magic show and enthralled by the vibrant folk dance of Rajasthan, offering them a glimpse into the state’s rich cultural heritage. A wholesome traditional meal further added to their experience, allowing them to savour the authentic flavours of rural cuisine.

Beyond the fun and festivities, the visit to Madhavgarh Farms was a meaningful learning experience. It provided the children with valuable insights into rural life and sustainable practices. As the day came to an end, the little ones returned with hearts full of joy, minds enriched with newfound knowledge and memories they would cherish for a long time.
